Responsibilities
- Assisting licensed care staff in performing a variety of clinical and technical tasks to assigned residents.
- Auxiliary with activities of daily living.
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Provide dining / tray services.
- Escort residents as needed.
- Take and record vital signs and weights.
- Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities.
- Notify care staff of resident changes of condition.
Qualifications
- Current state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with geriatric clients.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current CPR/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications.
- Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Food handlers certification and/or Certified Medical Technician/Certified Medication Aide certification, if required.
- Basic computer skills or ability to learn.
