Job Summary
The Hospice Aide at Community Health Network provides personal care to patients and completes other simple procedures under the direction of a registered nurse. This position serves primarily the Greenwood area with occasional clients in Franklin and Camby.
Responsibilities
- Takes personal care of the patient
- Completes other simple procedures pertaining to hospice care
- Works under the direction of a registered nurse
- Serves primarily the Greenwood area with occasional clients in Franklin and Camby
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of hospice care experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Indiana CNA license required according to federal, state, and local guidelines
- Certification and competency testing according to federal, state, and local standards
- CPR certified
- Passes 100 point HHA test
Qualifications
- Compassionate ability to read and communicate orally and in writing
- Able to accept and follow directions
