About the role
Hospice of New Mexico is seeking a Full Time Hospice Aide (CNA) to provide hands-on care that brings comfort and dignity to patients at the end of life. You will work closely with our nursing team to meet each patient’s physical, emotional, and personal needs with respect, empathy, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care following the carefully crafted plan of care.
- Attend promptly to the requests of patients and their family/caregiver, offering compassionate and unwavering support.
- Assist with personal care needs such as bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and shampooing.
- Support patients and their families by sharing knowledge and expertise, guiding them through this challenging time.
- Maintain accurate documentation to ensure high-quality care and compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required.
- You must hold a current unencumbered certificate as a C.N.A. in the state.
- Minimum one (1) year experience as a C.N.A. in an acute care or long term care setting is required.
- Hospice experience is preferred.
- Possess and maintain current CPR certification if state-mandated.
- Have a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
Pay
