CNA - Hospice Aide

About the role

Crescent Hospice is seeking a Full Time Hospice Aide (CNA) to provide hands-on care that brings comfort and dignity to patients at the end of life. You will work closely with our nursing team to meet each patient’s physical, emotional, and personal needs with respect, empathy, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personalized Care: Follow the carefully crafted plan of care to ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients.
• Attend Promptly to Requests: Offer compassionate and unwavering support to patients and their family/caregiver.
• Assist with Personal Care: Support patients with bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and shampooing.
• Be Dedicated to Customer Service: Go above and beyond to ensure optimal patient satisfaction.
• Provide Support for Families: Share your knowledge and expertise to guide and support patients’ families during this challenging time.
• Maintain Accurate Documentation: Ensure all details are accurate to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Holds current unencumbered certificate in the state working as a C.N.A.
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a C.N.A. in an acute care or long term care setting. Hospice experience a plus!
• Possesses and maintains current CPR certification if state-mandated.
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.

Pay

$15.00 - $19.00 per hour (Average Pay Range). Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and the specific responsibilities of the position.
