Pay

Attractive pay range of $19–$21 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services to patients, applying safety principles and proper body mechanics
• Assists with ambulation, transferring, range of motion, positioning, and household chores
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals; assists with feeding as assigned
• Performs homemaking and other environmental services as assigned
• Observes, reports, and documents any changes in patient's status
• Reports inability to perform tasks to the primary nurse
• Follows specific written instructions for personal care prepared by a registered nurse in accordance with the plan of care
• Assists patients with prescribed exercises as instructed by nurse or therapist
• Performs and records simple urine tests for sugar, acetone, and albumin
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current state certification (or registration) as a nurse assistant as per state requirements
• CNA experience within the last two years
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance
