About the role
We have CNA openings in Northwest Arkansas and NE Oklahoma. Outpatient CNA’s hours are 8-4:30pm.
Requirements
- Arkansas Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant certification
- Current CPR certification
- Current satisfactory TB skin test documentation
- One year experience in a healthcare environment, preferably with terminally ill patients
- Ability to cope with human suffering, emergencies and other stresses
- A team player and a person of unquestionable personal and professional ethics
- Valid Arkansas Driver's License, current auto liability insurance, and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Knowledge of safe personal care practices
- Routinely provides 20 visits per week
- Documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner per policy, to reflect mileage and time in patient home
- Treats patient with utmost respect, honoring privacy
- Demonstrates understanding of HIPAA rules and regulations
- Treats all staff, volunteers, visitors and others with respect
- Follows safe personal care practices
- Utilizes equipment when necessary to provide safe care for both patient and self, i.e. hoyer lifts, walkers, gait belts, etc.
