About the role

As the Home Health Aide or CNA, you will provide patients with in-home personal care and designated health related services to maintain the patient's physical and emotional well being.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist clients with activities of daily living including:
  • Bathing in bed, tub or shower
  • Care of hair including shampoo, combing and brushing
  • Care of teeth and mouth including denture care
  • Nail care, filing only
  • Skin care including peri care and applying lotion
  • Transfer of patient from bed to chair and to wheelchair
  • Transfer of patients on and off bedpan, commode and toilet
• Report observations of the client's condition to the agency director or accounts manager
• Drive safely, comply with traffic regulations, and wear a seat belt when business travel is required
• Assist with household tasks directly essential to clients' personal care
• Function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client

Requirements

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportation
• State-Specific Requirement: MD: Must be certified by Maryland State Board of Nursing (CNA)

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire
• 6+ months of home care experience
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently

Pay

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $23.50 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.
