About the role

Careage At Home is hiring compassionate CNAs to provide essential support to seniors and individuals in need in their homes. Multiple weekend positions are available in Pierce and Thurston Counties.

Compensation

Part-time weekends: $23.50–$26.20 per hour plus DOE and IRS mileage reimbursement.

Requirements

• Current Washington CNA license
• Current First Aid/CPR certification
• Current Food Handlers Card

Responsibilities

• Adhere to established agency policies and procedures
• Perform personal care, bathing, and hands-on care as assigned
• Complete visit records in a timely manner per agency policy
• Report changes in the patient’s condition and needs to the RN
• Provide household services essential to home health care as assigned
• Ambulate and exercise patients as assigned
• Assist with ordinarily self-administered medications as assigned
• Attend in-service, continuing education, and patient care conferences as scheduled

Physical demands

• Ability to participate in physical activity
• Capacity to work extended periods while standing and performing physical tasks
• Capable of heavy lifting
• Regular extensive bending, lifting, and standing

Work environment

Works indoors in agency offices and patient homes; travels to and from patient residences.
