CNA Home Care - AM & Sat Shifts
Senior Helpers of Chatham County is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide one-on-one care for seniors in their homes. If you became a CNA because you truly care about helping people, we would love to meet you. Our caregivers help seniors live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes.
About the role
This role requires professionalism, reliability, and the ability to assist clients with personal care and daily living activities. Our clients rely on their caregivers every day for safety and support. Scheduled shifts must be treated as firm commitments. Caregivers are expected to arrive on time, communicate early if an emergency occurs, and treat clients with professionalism and respect. Reliable caregivers may be considered for additional hours, preferred shifts, and advancement opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Mobility assistance
- Incontinence care
- Meal preparation
- Medication reminders
- Transportation for errands and appointments
- Light housekeeping
- Companionship
- Report changes in client condition
Requirements
- CNA certification (required)
- Home care or healthcare experience preferred
- Reliable vehicle, license, and insurance
- Able to read/write English
- Comfortable with smartphone/computer
- Pass background check and drug screen
- TB test required
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Schedule
Primarily Monday through Friday morning shifts (7:00 AM - 12:00 PM) and Saturday days. Afternoon (12:00 PM - 5:00 PM), evening (5:00 PM - 10:00 PM), and overnight shifts are also available, varying per client needs.
