About the role
As a Senior Helpers Caregiver, you make a lasting impact that betters the lives of our clients AND their families. Senior Helpers Central Dallas caregivers provide one-on-one personal care to help our clients remain safe and independent in their home. We fit your area of expertise to the seniors you’ll care for.
Responsibilities
- Have fun and engaging conversations with clients to build relationships
- Participate in clients’ favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)
- Prep meals for clients
- Assist clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living
- Report completed activities and provide updates on clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Current car insurance
- 1 year of agency caregiver experience preferred and/or a CNA
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Personal transportation (no ride-share, bus, or train due to client needs)
