About the role
BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate need for a Certified Nursing Assistant to care for their clients. The position offers a competitive wage range of $19-$23 per hour and includes a $500 referral bonus.
Responsibilities
- Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you’ll provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
- Develop close relationships with clients while helping them with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
- Provide household support including light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, meal preparation and feeding, range of motion/exercises, and assisting with ambulation (transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices).
- Ensure medication reminders are provided as part of your duties.
Requirements
- At least one year of work experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Active CNA license registered with North Carolina in good standing.
- Compliant with Bayada policy needed for home care.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification.
