We are hiring caregivers in the Salisbury–Newburyport area for full-time or part-time positions, including short shifts, long shifts, overnights, and weekends.
About the role
Guardian Angel Senior Services provides home care with love, enhancing quality of living through attentive and compassionate support. We help elderly and disabled clients maintain dignity and independence in their own homes. Tasks range from household chores and errands to companionship and personal care, including medication reminders, hygiene assistance, bathing, dressing, toileting, and housekeeping. You’ll have the flexibility to choose which clients you work with.
Responsibilities
- Assist with shopping and errands
- Report any unusual incidents
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Be a pleasant and supportive companion
- Assist client with personal care and hygiene
- Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies
- Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the client
- Assist client with ambulation and mobility around the house
- Meal prep and cooking
- Vacuuming, dusting, dry and wet mopping
- Cleaning the kitchen, dishwashing, taking out trash
- Washing and wiping bathrooms
- Changing bed linens, laundry, folding
- Personal care and hygiene: bathing, skin care, foot care
- Feeding, nutrition, grooming
- Transfer and incontinent care
Requirements
- Patient and friendly demeanor
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks
Pay
$19 – $21 per hour
