About the role

We are seeking dependable, kind, and professional caregivers to assist clients in their homes throughout the Indian River area. The role involves supporting clients with daily living activities, preparing light meals, providing companionship, performing light housekeeping, reminding clients to take medications, assisting with mobility, transfers, and walking, and observing and reporting any changes in the client's condition or behavior.

Responsibilities

• Supporting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Preparing light meals and assisting with feeding if necessary.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Reminding clients to take medications (no medication administration).
• Aiding with mobility, transfers, and walking.
• Observing and reporting any changes in the client’s condition or behavior.
• Ensuring a safe and clean home environment.

Qualifications

• Active Florida CNA license or Home Health Aide certification (75 Hours minimum).
• Valid CPR certification.
• Must have a Level II background screening (AHCA-compliant).
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Must be punctual, trustworthy, and have a genuine desire to help others.
• Prior experience with seniors or individuals with disabilities preferred.

Pay

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour.

Schedule

Weekdays. Weekends. Daytime and evening shifts available. Shifts vary between 2-4 hours in length and up to 5-6 hours. No overnight shifts.

Coverage Area

This position requires travel to clients located within Indian River County. Preference given to caregivers who live in or near: Vero Beach, Sebastian, Fellsmere, North Hutchinson Island.
