CNA/HHA - Assisted Living

Availability: Per Diem, all shifts PT 3-11p Mondays, PT 7a-3p Mondays & Wednesdays, PT all shifts on weekends and every other weekend 7a-3p, 3p-11p, & 11p-7a.

About the role

The Commons in Lincoln, a premier community within Benchmark, is looking for a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide (CNA/HHA) to join our Assisted Living/Mind and Memory team. As a CNA/HHA, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care
• Other duties as needed

Requirements

• Valid Massachusetts CNA/HHA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired

Pay

$19-$20.25 per hour, commensurate with experience, plus shift differentials.
