Responsibilities

• Support adults with development disabilities in a residential program
• Provide assistance with daily activities
• Ensure a structured routine that includes:
• Individual community outings
• Meal preparation
• Assistance with activities of daily living
• Personal care
• Medical appointments
• Medication distribution
• Provide opportunities for individuals to integrate into the community and enjoy outings that interest them

Requirements

• Valid Massachusetts C.N.A. License
• Compassionate person who enjoys making a difference in someone's life
• A qualifying criminal background check and driving record
• Valid drivers license; Use of your personal vehicle
• TB screening and Physical is required upon hire and a TB update every two years

Qualifications

Students in Human Services, Psychology, and Sociology programs are encouraged to apply. Although it is not a requirement, candidates with an interest in CNA, PCA and HHA type work are encouraged to apply.
