(CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant | Emergency Department | 11AM-11PM

Full-time schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM (36 hours per week).

About the role

The Emergency Department Certified Nursing Assistant assists with unit and patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Has full access to patient health information. May have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required (unless a current high school student participating in the CATS program for the NC).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required through American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Listed with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test, including bending, stooping, standing, and sitting for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
