CNA Certified Nursing Assistant CNA Full Time Nights 5K CNA

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Rehabilitation and Critical Care Hospital of the Black Hills in Rapid City, South Dakota. Start ASAP! This is a full‑time night‑shift position with 12‑hour shifts and a $5,000 bonus opportunity.

Location

Located in Rapid City, South Dakota, the Rehabilitation and Critical Care Hospital of the Black Hills is equipped with 36 inpatient medical rehabilitation beds and 18 long‑term acute care beds, offering comprehensive care for patients with a range of injuries, illnesses, surgeries, and chronic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed nursing personnel by providing and documenting activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming.
• Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment for patients.
• Utilize basic infection control procedures, nutrition, and fluid intake skills.
• Recognize emergency situations and respond appropriately.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Aide or other relevant experience in lieu of education will be considered.
• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant in the state of employment.
• BLS certification from a Vibra‑approved vendor required within six months of hire.

Additional Qualifications

• Acute care/LTAC experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
