CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

About the role

Cypress Village is a 120-acre wooded lakefront community in Jacksonville, offering a unique senior living experience. The position involves 12-hour shifts with weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality-nursing care to residents
• Assist residents with hygiene needs, feeding, bathing, and dressing
• Measure and record patients' temperatures and blood pressures
• Observe and record resident’s reactions to medications and treatments
• Participate in the organization and prioritization of residents and unit activities
• Report pertinent information to the RN/LPN
• Document daily ADLs
• Exhibit empathy, dignity, respect, and concern for resident's well-being

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification or obtain upon hire
• Previous CNA experience preferred
• The ability to read, follow written instructions, and document services provided
• Self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision
• Kind, reliable, and compassionate

Skills

Must have a current nursing assistant license (CNA) in the state of Florida and one year of CNA experience. Previous experience is great but not required.

Pay

$17.00 per hour

Schedule

Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
