About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team! The Certified Nurse Assistant is responsible for providing direct, hands-on care to residents in a nursing home environment to ensure residents attain or maintain the highest possible physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities

• Follows and upholds the Community’s philosophy and goal to maintain, improve, and/or enhance each resident’s quality of care and quality of life.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living as outlined in the care plan.
• Completes documentation of resident care as assigned.
• Follows safety policies in performing nursing care, assuring resident safety.
• Follows and upholds policies and procedures of the Community.
• Follows rules outlined in the Community’s employee handbook.
• Attends and participates in facility meetings and in-service training programs as assigned.
• Follows infection control guidelines.
• Reports changes in resident’s condition immediately to the Charge Nurse.
• Observes residents’ rights including, but not limited to, privacy and dignity.
• Promotes positive public relations with residents, family members, and guests.

Schedule

We offer 4 and 8-hour shifts for our CNA positions with openings for part-time (up to 29 hours weekly) and PRN positions.

• Days (6am-2:30pm):
  • Week One: Wednesday and Saturday
  • Week Two: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday (Part-Time)
• Evenings (2pm-10:30pm):
  • Week One: Monday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • Week Two: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday (Part-Time)
• Nights (10pm-6:30am): Every other weekend
