CNA Certified Nursing Assistant

About the role

Avalon Nursing and Rehab is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants to join our healthcare team. The ideal CNA candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. The facility hires for all shifts (part‑time, full‑time, PRN) and welcomes new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Provide basic medical care including catheter care and medication administration under supervision.
• Support patients with mobility needs using equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
