CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) 3pm to 11pm

About the role

Medical Park West Rehabilitation and Skilled Care in Norman, OK is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join a multi‑disciplinary team at a well‑respected facility specializing in long‑term and rehabilitative care. The role involves an 8‑hour shift (3 pm to 11 pm) providing personal care to residents, assisting the charge nurse, and delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort consistent with community policy.
• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
• Advise the supervising charge nurse of the resident’s status at the beginning and end of shift.
• Contribute knowledge of residents’ conditions and needs to resident care plans.
• Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within established policy and procedure parameters.
• Observe and report on residents’ conditions, and document observations as required.
• Comply with requirements for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies and procedures.
• Perform moderate to heavy lifting.
• Assure that equipment is clean and functional.
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as needed to maintain a clean, hazard‑free environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• State certification as a nursing assistant.
• Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant.
• Highly developed observation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
