About the role
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) at Trailpoint Village play a vital role in fostering a warm and supportive environment where the resident's well-being is prioritized. They assist with activities of daily living, provide companionship, and reassurance, contributing to a homelike environment that values dignity, respect, and individualized attention.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Provide companionship and reassurance to residents.
- Work with nursing and other facility teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Collaborate with residents, their families, and staff to understand and meet their needs.
- Support a respectful and positive work environment through interpersonal communication.
Requirements
- Valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Indiana.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
- A strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
- Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
