About the role

The Nursing Assistant Certified performs and documents, as appropriate, specific patient care delivery at the direction and under the supervision of an RN or LPN.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care activities such as feeding, bathing, grooming, and dressing patients.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene and mobility as needed.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report changes to supervising nurses.
• Administer medications as directed by a licensed nurse.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety by maintaining cleanliness and order in the patient’s room.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a Washington State approved Nursing Assistant Certification Course.
• Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Qualifications

• 1 year recent experience as a Nursing Assistant in a patient care setting.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Basic computer skills for documentation.

Pay

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. The base pay range is $22.35 - $34.11 per hour.
