About the role
Visiting Angels of Greensboro is hiring a reliable, compassionate, and dependable At Home Senior Caregiver to join their team in the Greensboro, NC area.
Responsibilities
- Provides essential care to the client
- Provides continuous companionship for the client while on duty
- Aids in meal planning, purchasing of foods, and food preparation
- Washes dishes and cleans the kitchen after meals
- Aids in maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe living environment
- Monitors the client's physical, emotional, and mental health and reports any changes
- Keeps accurate records of daily activities
- Ensures the client feels secure and protected from harm
- Assists the client with daily tasks as needed, excluding medical care
- Communicates availability to work with the Coordinator on a weekly basis or as required
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of caregiving experience
- Strong sense of professionalism and reliability
- Valid Driver's License
- Personal, reliable transportation to and from shifts
- Age 18 or older
- Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
- Complies with all agency policies
- Dementia/Alzheimer's experience a plus
- CNA certification required
