About the role
Visiting Angels of Winston-Salem is hiring a reliable, compassionate, and dependable At Home Caregiver in the Winston-Salem, NC area.
Responsibilities
- Provides personal care to the client
- Provides continuous companionship for the client while on duty
- Aids in meal planning, purchasing of foods, and food preparation
- Washes dishes and cleans the kitchen after meals
- Aids in maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe living environment
- Monitors the client's health status and reports any changes
- Ensures the client feels secure and protected
- Assists the client with daily activities as needed, excluding medical care
- Communicates availability to work with the Coordinator on a weekly basis or as required
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of caregiving experience
- Strong sense of professionalism and reliability
- Valid Driver's License
- Personal, reliable transportation to and from shifts
- Age 18 or older
- Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
- Complies with all agency policies
- Dementia/Alzheimer's experience a plus
- CNA certification required
