CNA- Assisted Living & Memory Care (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing care for residents
• Listening to residents/families and responding to all concerns and questions
• Aiding with all necessary and appropriate resident care, including toileting, vital signs, transferring, bathing, dressing, and washing all areas associated with the ADLs, and reporting any resident concerns or changing conditions to the supervising nursing staff
• Dining room responsibility when needed (cross training will be provided)
• Ensuring a safe environment during resident activities

QUALIFICATIONS

• Educational requirement: High school diploma or GED, one year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Skills required: Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence, speak effectively before groups, apply common sense understanding, and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Certifications and licenses required: Valid State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant Certification and current CPR certification
