Responsibilities
- Perform field and laboratory testing on construction materials in line with TxDOT, ASTM, and AASHTO standards
- Inspect roadway, bridge, and site development work to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Document testing and inspection results using digital reporting systems
- Review plans, specifications, and testing requirements to support accurate execution
- Communicate results, observations, and issues clearly with project teams and clients
- Maintain equipment, calibration records, and follow all safety practices on-site
- Assist with project scheduling and coordination of field personnel
Requirements
- Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Level 1A, TxDOT Level 1B, ACI Field Testing Technician Grade I certifications
- High school diploma or GED (a technical or related degree is a plus)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction materials testing or inspection
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to travel to project sites regularly
- Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills
- Knowledge of TxDOT specifications and testing procedures preferred

Pay
Salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually
