CMT Laboratory Intern

General Responsibilities

Our internship and co-op program offer practical exposure to geotechnical, environmental, materials, and facilities engineering, as well as the business functions that support these services. You’ll work alongside professionals who live our Core Values: Caring, Courage, Curiosity, Excellence, Integrity, and Prosperity every day.

Eligible Majors

• Civil, Environmental, Geotechnical, Geological, or Construction Engineering
• Biology
• Geology
• Other related technical or business fields

Essential Roles And Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced engineers and technicians on field and laboratory assignments
• Support active project work and observe how technical decisions translate to client and community outcomes
• Build core skills in sampling, testing, data analysis, and report development
• Receive mentorship from professionals committed to helping you grow
• Participate in a nationwide internship cohort program and share your experience with executive leadership

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, science, technical, or business related fields
• Interest in consulting and fieldwork
• Demonstrated curiosity, teamwork, and alignment with Terracon’s values
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required
