CMT Field Technician 2

Responsibilities
- Perform field testing of construction materials (soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate) to verify compliance with project specifications
- Travel to active construction sites and collaborate with contractors, producers, and project teams
- Accurately document test results and maintain clear, timely field reports
- Follow established safety procedures and maintain a strong safety-first mindset on every job site
- Support inspection activities and communicate findings with project stakeholders
- Work on remote or large-scale projects, including extended field assignments when needed
Requirements
- 2+ years of construction materials testing experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow testing standards and procedures
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to ~80%) and support project-based schedules
- Good communication skills and a team-first mindset
- Experience with certifications such as ACI, CAPA, WAQTC (preferred)

Pay
The expected salary range for the position is $25.00 - $30.00 hourly rate. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
