CMT Dispatcher

About the role

Tolunay-Wong Engineers, Inc. (TWE) is seeking applicants for a Dispatcher. As a Dispatcher, you are responsible for the scheduling of field personnel, and act as a communication conduit between the Project Manager(s), Client(s), and the Technician(s). You must be knowledgeable of each project, the location of each project, the Project Manager and Client’s needs for each project, and the capabilities of each of the Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Work with the project managers to assure the appropriate personnel are available and assigned to the scheduled projects.
• Maintain a list of available personnel and be familiar with their abilities and certifications where applicable.
• Schedule field activities per the client or designated contact for all projects.
• Dispatch all of the paperwork required for the following work day’s assignments and place it in the appropriate personnel’s box by the end of the work day.
• Schedule all field personnel for the required safety training, drug testing, and certifications.
• Assure that each technician has the appropriate approvals to enter the various facilities where we have projects.
• Assure that all paperwork has been turned in from the previous workday by 8am the next day.
• Assist the field personnel when needed with technical problems or other performance issues.
• Assist with the provision of a safe work environment for all TWE employees.
• Assist the office administrator as necessary and type test and inspection reports.
• Assist the project managers with project setup when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5 years technical or 2 years dispatch experience.
• Proficient with computers, testing, specialized and Microsoft Office programs.
• Capacity to effectively communicate verbally and in writing and a high aptitude for math.
• Display the ability to multi-task effectively.
