About the role
The CMM Operator is responsible for operating Computerized Measuring Machines (CMMs) to inspect and measure parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate CMMs to inspect and measure parts
- Ensure all measurements are accurate and within specifications
- Document findings and report any non-conformities to supervisors
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of related experience in manufacturing or inspection
- Basic knowledge of metrology and measurement techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using CMM software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members
