About The Position

CMM Inspector
Quality Stamping & Machining is hiring a CMM Inspector. We're seeking skilled professionals passionate about precision, innovation, and teamwork in an environment where you can make a real impact.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform required dimensional precision measurement inspection operations on all parts, components, assemblies, gaging, and tooling for receiving, fabrication, assembly, modification, and rework, utilizing automated CMM equipment.
• Participate in or conduct First Article inspections of parts, components, assemblies, gaging, and tooling for receiving, fabrication, assemblies, and modifications per AS9100 Standards for completeness and conformance with applicable Drawing-Based Definition (PCM 2-D drawings) and Model Based Definition or Digital Product Design Definition (MBD or DPDD in 3-D Space).
• Cook with engineering, customers, vendors, production workers, and other Quality Assurance personnel as required to complete given tasks.
• Aid in solving problems and recommend corrective action to be taken to prevent recurrence of rejections.
• Perform work in other areas which are included in normal duties and necessary to complete a given assignment.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications
• 2+ years of experience with using PC-DMIS and/or CMM Manager, and/or familiarity working with Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM)
• Must be able to work Second shift, as assigned
• 2+ years of experience with ISO 9001 or AS9100 Quality Assurance Standards

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree Or Completed Technical Certificate(s) in GD&T Or Metrology
• 5+ years of experience in data/file management (e.g., ability to organize, sort, label, scan, and otherwise manipulate paper and electronic inspection records as required)
• 5+ years of experience programming CMM inspections on machined parts and mechanical assemblies
• 5+ years of experience as a Quality Inspector

Rates of Pay

$30/HR To $40/HR DOE
