About the role
CMAs working as Direct Support Professionals (DSP) provide caregiver assistance and support to the individuals that live at New Vista Oakwood’s beautiful campus-style setting. This includes participating in special occasions and community opportunities while always ensuring the safety, welfare, and the preservation of rights of clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide caregiver assistance and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Participate in special occasions and community opportunities.
- Ensure the safety, welfare, and the preservation of rights of clients.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Certified to drive a vehicle.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable operating transportation, and proof of current auto insurance.
- Ability to meet criminal background and drug screening standards.

Pay
Starting pay for CMAs is $18.40 per hour. If you have a Bachelor’s degree, starting pay is $18.95 per hour.
