Responsibilities
- taking vitals signs and updating medication records
- preparing patients for exams and/or procedures
- preparing equipment and assisting physician/provider during treatment, examination, and testing of patients
Requirements
- Education: Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants
- Certification/License: Certification or registration from an approved certifying organization for Medical Assistants (AAMA, ARMA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT & NHA)
- Possession of State Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Possession of State Registered Nurse license
- Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
- Mandatory Reporting of Dependent Adult and Child Abuse
Qualifications
- Previous clinical nursing experience
- McFarland Clinic experience preferred
