About the role

We are currently accepting applications for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at our Express Care clinic in Ames (Lincoln Center). Candidates should be service-oriented, team players, and able to provide exceptional care to patients in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients
• Taking vitals and patient history
• Performing point-of-care testing
• Administering immunizations and other injections
• Assisting in a fast-paced clinical environment

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants or graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), ANHP, NCCT, or NHA or possession of a current State Licensed Practical Nurse license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Health Care Providers
• Clinic or hospital experience preferred

Schedule

• Part-time: 28 hours per week (PT) or 10 hours per week (PPT)
• Days: Monday–Friday, including rotating weekends
• $2.50 per hour pay differential for Saturday and/or Sunday shifts
• Holiday pay details available upon request (if a holiday falls on a weekend)

Pay

Competitive pay with differentials for weekend shifts.
