CMA/LPN/EMT/MA - Urgent Care
About the role
The clinic assistant at Westfields Hospital & Clinic is responsible for various patient care duties and other related tasks in a clinical setting. Duties include documentation of medical information, administration of medications, vaccinations, and treatments, obtaining medical histories and vital signs, and assisting healthcare providers in the timely delivery of services.
Responsibilities
- Document medical information accurately and promptly
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by physicians or RNs
- Obtain and document medical histories and vital signs
- Aid healthcare providers in the delivery of services according to clinic policies and procedures
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
- Current LPN licensure in the State of Wisconsin
- Graduate of an accredited EMT program
- Current CPR certification within 6 months of hire and maintained while employed
Qualifications
- Experience in EPIC computer system
Skills
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is also beneficial.

Pay and Schedule
Pay: Competitive wages based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule: 32 hours per pay period, 0.8 FTE, day/evening shifts, varying shifts Monday-Friday 7:45am-8pm, every 3rd weekend rotation 7:45am-5pm, holiday rotation.
