Responsibilities

• Contribute to the healthcare of patients by assisting with exams and procedures
• Organize and manage patient flow
• Take on other responsibilities based on the needs of the department

Requirements

• Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma/GED
• Preferred Education Level: Associate's Degree
• Licensure Certification Needed: Yes
• Minimum Licensure: Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Minimum Licensure (Other): CMA - Certified Medical Assistant

Qualifications

• Nursing Students who are actively enrolled in a BSN program and completed nursing fundamentals can apply for the position and be hired as Medical Assistant. Such Team Members need to maintain active enrollment status and need provide proof of enrollment at the beginning of every semester.
• Applicable Military Medical Training
• Students who are actively enrolled in a BSN program, have completed nursing fundamentals and can provide proof of enrollment at the beginning of every semester.
