About the role

Prepare, administer, report, and record medications according to the physician’s orders and established policies and procedures. Ensure the highest degree of quality care is always maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare medications as prescribed by physicians.
  • Administer medications to residents following established protocols.
  • Report and record medication administration accurately.
  • Maintain quality care standards in all duties.

Requirements

  • Must be certified as a Qualified Medication Aide by the Department of Health.
  • Ability to make independent decisions.
  • Previous skilled nursing home experience.
