Responsibilities
- Assemble luxury boat components and subassemblies according to work instructions, specifications, and production requirements.
- Gather and prepare required parts, tools, and materials for each build.
- Measure, position, and install components using assembly drawings, templates, and tape measurements.
- Verify fit, finish, and functionality of completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Install and hard-wire electrical components, including lights, speakers, LED lighting, radios, and batteries.
- Install, program, and configure digital motor controls and related systems as required.
- Rig and install motors according to job specifications, including battery, steering, and shift cable installation where applicable.
- Perform adjustments and modifications necessary to meet design and customer specifications.
- Operate hoists, lifts, and other equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist with shrink-wrap preparation and packaging using approved equipment and procedures.
- Complete production, quality, and inventory documentation as required.
- Conduct self-inspections to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with company standards.
- Maintain equipment and work areas in clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality expectations.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum one year of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
- Basic electrical wiring and component installation experience preferred.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of boat rigging or assembly processes.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, blueprints, and work orders.
- Basic math, reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.
