As the Cluster Director of Business Development for Alila Ventana Big Sur and Alila Napa Valley, you will lead a leisure sales team and drive commercial success across a cluster of luxury resorts through strategic leadership, tailored sales planning, and deep engagement with high-level internal and external stakeholders. You’ll partner closely with on-property Directors of Sales and Marketing and collaborate with regional commercial team, the Hyatt Sales Force, and key luxury travel influencers in all transient market segments to deliver measurable growth in revenue. What You’ll Do Provide unified but customized sales leadership for your assignment markets and hotelsGuide the resorts through cohesive transient business development strategyActively contribute to the creation of data-informed strategic revenue plans in partnership with DOSMsActivate and Maintain senior-level relationships with agency owner/managers, luxury consortia networks, card programs and other sources of transient leisure businessMonitor evolving market demand, evaluate competitor activity, conduct targeted prospecting, and open new channels of revenue through sales partnerships.Champion the Alila brand within luxury travel, representing the North America portfolio at industry trade shows, client events, and through high-touch programming.Serve as a critical connector between on-property sales teams, the Hyatt Sales Force, and corporate stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery against regional objectives. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors including experience and training levels. This position is remote with travel to the resorts required as needed with a minimum travel expectation of 25%. Ideally the candidate is located in California. Relocation assistance can be provided. Qualifications 5+ years of sales or business development experience in the transient/leisure luxury hospitality space Prior success working with or within high-end travel agency networks (Virtuoso, FHR, Signature, etc.) Experience in a regional, multi-property, or hybrid sales leadership role Strong understanding of both group and leisure market dynamics Proficient in leveraging sales and analytics tools (Amadeus, STR, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Ideas, Thoughtspot) Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Willingness to travel as needed All qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
