Job Summary
The primary role of Clubhouse Coordinator is engaging members in all aspects of the unit and coordinating unit projects and activities.
Responsibilities
- Consistently engages and involves members in all aspects of the unit, including activity and work planning and encourages members to assume leadership roles within the unit.
- Provides wide range of work opportunities to members and works side by side with members as colleagues.
- Encourage member participation in the work‑ordered day and support a welcoming, inclusive environment.
- Demonstrates an adherence to the Clubhouse philosophy/model in their daily conduct.
- Aid staff in maintaining Transitional Employment (TE), Supported Employment (SE), and Independent Employment (IE) support.
- Helps maintain Transitional Employment (TE) placements by coordinating coverage, communicating with employers, and supporting members in learning job tasks.
- Conducts outreach to members who are absent or disengaged to promote ongoing participation and connection.
- Assists members with a wide range of community living needs, including resolving issues with roommates, neighbors, landlords, and housing authorities; navigating the legal system; developing life skills; managing banking tasks with.
- Participate in supervision, training, and learning opportunities related to the Clubhouse model and behavioral health.
- Assists with data entry, attendance tracking, and program reporting tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality of client’s care.
- Participate in scheduled program meetings.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bilingual required.
- Valid CA driver’s license and current auto insurance per contract requirements required.
- Cultural competency understanding required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and EHR software preferred.
