Clubhouse Attendant

Create a positive and welcoming first impression for residents and guests entering the clubhouse at a property in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provide staff support and guidance to address the needs of homeowners, the Board of Directors, and the Community Manager.
• Assist residents in a professional, friendly, and helpful manner, ensuring the clubhouse and grounds are safe and welcoming.
• Greet all residents and guests, ensuring residents sign in and guest policies are followed.
• Familiarize yourself with the Association's rules and regulations and apply them respectfully to all residents and guests.
• Open and close the Clubhouse daily, including managing the outdoor pool when open.
• Ensure the Clubhouse is safe, clean, and presentable at all times; report and address conditions beyond your knowledge.
• Complete minor maintenance tasks as directed, such as watering flowers and shrubs.
• Maintain swimming pools according to set procedures and ensure pool decks are safe and clean.
• Set up, monitor, and take down items (e.g., tables and chairs) for Clubhouse events as directed.
• Take immediate action in emergencies to minimize injury or damage, following incident reporting procedures.
• Follow all checklists and procedures to ensure tasks are completed accurately.

Skills & Qualifications

• Works effectively with coworkers, clients, and others by sharing ideas constructively and addressing problems collaboratively.
• High-energy attitude with the ability to multitask and prioritize projects.
• Proficient in using technology, including telephones, computers, and copiers for Association business.
• Experience providing customer service in a hospitality or retail setting; community or property management experience preferred.
• Superior oral and written communication skills.
