Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing gym operations to ensure a positive member experience and financial success.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members.
• Member service oversight to ensure all team members provide a great customer service experience.
• High involvement in front desk tasks such as greeting and welcoming members, conducting gym tours, addressing member concerns.
• Support team members and club members.
• Create and maintain a positive club image.
• Coach and counsel team members to help meet company standards.
• Ensure prompt opening and closing of the gym.
• Ensure staff are aware and trained on current marketing promotions.
• Complete manager portion of onboarding for new hires in Paycom.
• Ensure the club is open and staffed during all business hours.
• Implement and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Order supplies and track inventory.

Minimum Qualifications

• Honesty and good work ethic
• At least 1 year of equivalent managerial experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift
• Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time
