CLUB Customer Service - Part time

About the Role

The CLUB Customer Service Outfitter provides world-class customer service for guests while presenting the benefits of becoming a CLUB Member. The role involves product expertise, account servicing, CLUB processes (including acquiring and activating new members), sales, customer experience, peer coaching, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
• Proactively greets customers and presents them with the opportunity to become a Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s CLUB Member or enhances the experience for current members.
• Executes all Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s CLUB operational and compliance programs.
• Demonstrates products to customers and remains knowledgeable of advertised sales.
• Helps meet metric goals and objectives for self and the store.
• Maintains accurate CLUB inventory and keeps the CLUB Booth clean and organized.
• Provides a full CLUB Member experience, including processing payments, answering account questions, and handling applications.
• Provides daily feedback and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Offers peer coaching, recognition, and support as a CLUB advocate and representative.
• Assists in all areas of the store based on business needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years of experience.

Skills

• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in a customer service environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptability to new processes and procedures.
• Strong self-motivation and ability to work unsupervised.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and/or walk during shifts to assist customers on the sales floor.
• Hear well enough to constantly communicate with others.
• Constantly repeat motions involving the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned.
• Light work involving lifting and moving objects up to 20 pounds constantly.
• Occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, or step stools.
• Occasionally work in noisy environments.

Independent Judgement

Performs tasks and duties under general supervision using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems, with occasional independent judgment required. Often makes recommendations to improve work procedures, policies, and practices.

Pay

Starting pay rate: $16.00 - $18.75 per hour.
