About the role

CLUB COACH - NORTHERN CALIFORNIA

Responsibilities

• Experienced in bouldering, top rope, and lead climbing.
• Sound understanding of climbing techniques such as footwork, body positioning, movement efficiency, route reading, etc.
• Patience and passion for working with kids at a variety of ability levels and learning styles.
• Bright, creative, and engaging approach to climbing instruction and curriculum.
• Create high quality training curriculum and programming for the Climbing Clubs and Kids Camps.
• Collaborate with other coaches to facilitate an exceptional team experience for our climbers.

Requirements

• Available to work additional support shifts at their assigned gym.

Qualifications

• Able to teach a variety of ability levels and learning styles.
• A creative, fun approach to climbing instruction.
• Ability to create high quality training curriculum and programming.
• Willingness to collaborate with other coaches.

Pay

Starting pay is $18.50 an hour, and varies based on geographical location and gym location.
