About the role
The Club Attendant plays a key role in maintaining a welcoming and efficient clubhouse environment. This position supports daily operations, assists with event coordination, and ensures a high-quality experience for residents and guests. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude are essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer care by guiding residents to facility activities and classes, answering questions, and maintaining a safe, clean, and friendly environment.
- Assist management with facility operations, including opening, closing, and monitoring the clubhouse, and providing a professional staff presence.
- Relay messages between the reception desk and management.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of special events and community meetings.
- Answer facility questions and telephone inquiries, serving as a public relations representative to facility management, the Management Company, and the Board of Directors.
- Maintain accurate records and monitor facility supply inventory; submit supply requests to the manager.
- Accompany new and prospective residents on facility tours.
- Ensure the clubhouse remains safe, equipment is used properly, and residents follow facility policies across all areas, including the fitness center, aquatics facility, bocce ball courts, pickleball complex, and other clubhouse spaces.
- Notify facility management of worn or damaged equipment and maintenance needs.
- Perform related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
- Knowledge of equipment, facilities, operations, and techniques used in fitness, recreation services, lifestyle management, and/or party planning.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with residents, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Self-motivated with the ability to set priorities.
- CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification preferred.
Essential Functions
- Use standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and copiers/scanners.
- Remain stationary for extended periods.
- Lift and relocate up to 25 pounds.
Schedule
- Schedule varies based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- May require occasional long hours to meet business needs.
- May be required to work outside under varied weather conditions.
Pay
$20.00 per hour.
