Clow Valve - MS Maintenance Mechanic A

Responsibilities

• Repairing, maintaining, installing, lubricating, troubleshooting and adjusting machines and equipment.
• Performing routine inspections of equipment.
• Performing routine lubrication and cleaning.
• Performing minor repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment and machines.
• Using common hardware such as bolts, pipe fittings, etc.
• Preventing and performing preventative maintenance of equipment and machinery.
• Operating fork trucks, lifts, and conveyors.
• Welding and minor fabrications.

Qualifications

• Must pass an aptitude test.
• Lifting/carrying of less than 50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, reaching & twisting up to 90 times per hour.
• Standing & walking 8 to 10 hours per day.
• Ability to move neck forward/back & turn right/left, kneel, squat, & climb using arms and legs.
• Repetitive use of both hands & fingers to grasp, flex, extend, exert force, wear gloves, & utilize tools.
• Frequent work in extreme temperature conditions inside & outside including but not limited to working on slippery, uneven, unstable surfaces.
• Ability to work around machinery.
