We are seeking a Cloud Systems Architect to engineer and support public, private, and hybrid clouds. The ideal candidate will be proficient in cloud hosts including Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure. Responsibilities

• Act as an advisor to our customer regarding cloud management strategies to leverage benefits such as unrestricted workload capacity, scalable workstations, and pay-as-you-use pricing.
• Work with the IT Security team to manage and maintain cloud systems security of data and network resources.
• Engineer on-premise customer applications and systems interconnected to cloud resources.
• Design and define system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems.
• Determine systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and system security maintenance.
• Coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total system.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies and develop and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers.

Requirements

• Experience with and a complete understanding of the technology required for cloud computing.
• Skills to migrate applications to the cloud.
• Ability to build relationships between customers and team members.
• Knowledge to integrate services and tools across networks and data processing.
• Ability to implement security information and event management to protect customer assets.
• Experience meeting or exceeding cloud provider service-level agreements.
• Experience with AWS and Azure.
• Knowledge of programming languages including Python, PHP, Java, Node, and Ruby on Rails.
• Typically a Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of work experience or equivalent experience.

Pay

$167,032.32 - $226,686.72 a year
