Cloud Systems Administrator, TS/SCI w/Poly
About the role
The team is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator / Systems Engineer with experience supporting Linux systems in virtualized environments, including AWS. The ideal candidate is a self starter who is highly organized, works well independently, and collaborates effectively with customers and technical team members. This individual will serve as the primary administrator for all Linux development and production systems.
Responsibilities
- Installing, configuring, updating, and maintaining Linux operating systems and applications
- Applying software updates and IAVA security patches
- Monitoring system health and performance
- Tracing hardware, software, and system issues to ensure maximum availability and minimize downtime
- Developing and maintaining system and process documentation
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of operational procedures
Requirements
- Experience deploying, managing, and maintaining systems within AWS
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, IP addressing, routing, and public and private network configurations
- Familiarity with customer STE/STN requirements
- Experience creating, installing, and managing server certificates
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to independently identify and resolve technical issues
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or 2 years of qualifying experience)
- DoD 8570 IAT Level I certification or higher; CompTIA Security+ CE preferred
- Cloud System Administrator Certification or comparable Cloud System/Service Certification desired
- Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph

Details Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
