Cloud Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain cloud data solutions for a DoD CBRN threat characterization system
• Design and deploy cloud-native infrastructure using AWS or Azure services
• Develop cloud architectures to support AI/ML data pipelines and analytics
• Implement CI/CD pipelines in line with DoD DevSecOps standards
• Integrate cloud solutions with data governance and compliance tools
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers and security teams for optimal cloud environments
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, ensuring performance and security

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance or higher required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience with AWS or Azure cloud solutions design and management
• Hands-on experience with key AWS services, including GuardDuty, WAF, EC2, and RDS for PostgreSQL
• Strong grasp of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks (NIST SP 800-171)
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline implementation and infrastructure as code
• Experience in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Fargate)

Pay

$103,500 – $181,100 annually
